Anil comes from a long line of auto workers and is a former auto worker himself. He understands the value of a hard day’s work and the importance of standing up for workers’ rights. 

As the CUPE vice president, he successfully negotiated for fairer wages, job security, and negotiated collective agreements to help workers. 

Anil is no stranger to a fight when it comes to defending what is right, but is pragmatic enough to find common ground to get things done.

As your MP, he will fight for affordable housing, quality public services, and a future where no one gets left behind.
